About Us

Boaz

growing up in the country side of the galili, I loved exploring the wilderness, I was very fortunate to live a minute walk away from nature. as I grow up however more and more of the hills I loved had turned into biuldings and roads... I couldnt blame any body cus I myself lived in a house that is on what was once wild nature. even if we would build a more modest low profile buildings we are still using a lot of space. Im talking about ecological footprint- agriculture, cattle, industry...

so I chose to live and study permaculture in an ecological farm. there I learned how to shrink my ecological footprint and build sustainable systems. an ecological farm is an impotent educational facility, but I dont expect all 7 billion of us to live in farms (then we will not have much space ether).

my love for the wild attracted me to Alaska were vast wilderness enhanced my connection to the land...

on the way back south from Alaska we decided to take a ferry down the corridor instead of driving the Alaskan high way (how we came to Alaska). The ferry was so big that there were many people, a few stories and  a lot of space. I kept thinking that a hole village/community could live and grow food on a vessel such  as this.

throughout my Architecture studies I become found of small space design and the dream of sailing the world on a sustainable ship lingered in my mind. so now the next step of the journey begins, the sailing stage. we are now moving in to Juoty our 26' sail boat.

using wind for travel and attempting to create life support systems on board. it will not be sustainability at its finest but its a step toward that dream of sailing community who travel the world with out depending on the local resources. to visit remote location and see raw nature. ever changing back yard while living aboard- a life ship
