16 days in NJ bays

On the 15th of June Jouty (the sailboat) and I left pier 281 for good. sunny day and morning tide welcomed us to this destination-less journey.

The purpose was to get to know boating, weather, sailing, myself, keep working on the boat, save ducking money and mostly to experience how it is to live on a 26' sailboat- a tiny home that constantly moving by the elements.

first anchor

first over night anchor in front of ospreys nest

my beautiful neighbors inspired me to paint in the cabin

next anchor spot by a naturally preserved coastal heritage park

the solar panel platform start to take shape...

handle for the crank handle

some down wind sailing

some painting and coocking

The last few days were very windy, winds of 16-24 knots from the south... so I started sawing riffing for the mainsail..

sewing

riff works nicely as Juoty and I are getting ready to sail north downwind

and finally we found a friendly marina for our beloved sailboat
